ST GEORGE’S SCHOOL, GARSCUBE TERRACE, EDINBURGH EH12 6BW
THE CHALLENGE OF SOCIALLY JUST LEADERSHIP
We are delighted to announce that the SELMAS Forum is totally sold out. That’s a result of the attractive line-up of speakers as well as of the popularity of SELMAS events. The evening starts at 5.30 pm with registration, drinks and chat, with the formal event starting at 6.15. We very much look forward to welcoming you to St George’s.
The speakers are Rosa Murray, General Teaching Council of Scotland; Anne-Marie McGovern, Headteacher, St Benedict’s RC Primary School, Glasgow; and Anna Fowlie, Chief Executive, Scottish Council for Social Services.
To get to St George’s by public transport the following buses from George Street (nearest stop to Waverley- 12,26)and from Haymarket (12,26, 31,48) take you to Roseburn Terrace from which St George’s is a five-minute, well sign-posted walk. If driving from the west, drive through Corstorphine, past the Zoo, turn left at Murrayfield Avenue, first right into Henderland Road; at the end of Henderland Road, on hitting Garscube Terrace, you are facing the entrance to St George’s. If driving from the north, follow Queensferry Road into the city; turn right into Queensferry Terrace; first right into Raveslton Dykes; 3rd right into Garscube Terrace. If driving from the south or east, seek to avoid the tram-works (difficult!) and aim for Roseburn Terrace, after which a right turn takes you into Murrayfield Avenue, from where the directions for drivers from the west apply.
SELMAS is grateful for the support and sponsorship of the Scottish Government.
